What Makes the Prompt Launchpad Useful

1. Expertly Designed

Each prompt has been crafted by AI experts and industry practitioners to follow best practices in prompt engineering, ensuring high-quality outputs every time.

2. Variable-Based Simplicity

Instead of writing complex prompts from scratch, users simply:

  • Select a prompt template from their persona category

  • Fill in 1-5 simple variables (company names, date ranges, specific topics, upload relevant files, etc.)

  • Submit and receive comprehensive, professional results

3. Persona-Optimized

Prompts are organized by professional role and use case, meaning:

  • Results are formatted for your specific needs

  • Language and depth match your expertise level

  • Outputs align with how your role makes decisions

4. Continuously Expanding

The library grows based on user feedback and emerging use cases, ensuring you always have access to cutting-edge prompt strategies.

Understanding prompt structure

Featured prompts are designed with a specific structure to maximize effectiveness. Understanding this structure helps you get the most out of each prompt.

⚠️ Important: Template variables (like #{text:Label}) are processed when you submit the prompt. Make sure to fill in all required placeholders before submitting, or Chief may not understand your request correctly.

Template variables

Featured prompts use a special syntax for placeholders:

  • #{text:Label} - Text input field

    • Example: #{text:Company Name} becomes a text field labeled "Company Name"

  • #{file:Label} - File or asset reference

    • Example: #{file:Internal Data} lets you attach files or reference existing assets

  • #{opts:Label:["Option1", "Option2"]} - Dropdown selection

    • Example: #{opts:Purpose:["Board Meeting", "Strategic Planning"]} shows a dropdown with those options

Customizing after loading

After loading a featured prompt, you can:

  • Edit any text in the prompt

  • Add or remove placeholders

  • Combine multiple prompts
